QUINTERRA PLT

Based in Petaling Jaya, QuinTerra PLT is already on a regenerative path growing holy basil and specialty herbs for restaurants and direct customers. With Black Soldier Fly integration and existing sustainable practices, their farm represents a living example of what regenerative agriculture can look like when given time to develop.

Given QuinTerra’s focus on specialty herbs, there is a need to increase biodiversity and strengthen biological continuity. It was suggested to farmer Chen to establish a short legume/biomass strip and to diversify herbs and leafy crops, all the while maintaining mulch. Moreover, the SHE Intelligence team aims to work with farmer Chen to refine Black Soldier Fly compost and organic input application, ensuring adequate input amount, frequency, ideal application timing, and maturity. All of this will require better logbook recording and monitoring.
