FARM SOILUTION

Farmer: Sin Ting Lam

Farm SOILution is building a 32,300 sq.ft regenerative agriculture hub in Fanling — a living, working demonstration of what sustainable farming can look like in Hong Kong's subtropical climate.

In Hong Kong, farmers face a lack of practical local guidance, isolation from one another, a consumer base disconnected from how their food is grown, and soil degraded by conventional practices.

Through 36 hands-on workshops, farmer gatherings, and community farming sessions, Farm SOILution is addressing these gaps by tailoring science-based regenerative farming practices to local conditions, building farmer capacity, and enhancing public awareness. Farmer Sinting aims to train more than 120 participants to adopt local regenerative practices, such as bio-active plant nutrient implementation, seed treatment with bio-inoculants, composting, and mulching etc.

“This grant is a vital bridge that transforms our vision of regenerative agriculture into a shared community reality.”
