AHMAD TAUZAN
Pahang, Malaysia
Farmer: Ahmad Tauzan
Ahmad grows chili and ginger on 5 acres in the hills of Bukit Tinggi. Both crops are bound for local markets, but the land comes with a challenge: steep slopes that make the soil vulnerable to erosion with heavy rain.
This farm represents the reality of cultivating high-value crops on physically demanding terrain.
Together, we're learning how to introduce regenerative principles conservatively—stabilizing the slope first, protecting the soil, and slowly improving function without sacrificing livelihood. It's not about quick wins, but building resilience that lasts.
