With the goal of transforming Noah’s Forest into an educational farm, Mary and Vienna have been eagerly learning from fellow members of the regenerative farming community. Aware of their relative inexperience, they approach each challenge with humility and a willingness to ask for help. Recently, they encountered difficulties growing a lesser-known variety of Daikon. In response, the community rallied around them, offering guidance and support. As climate change continues to bring unpredictable weather patterns, our appointed local advisor also encourages grantees to diversify their crops—including lesser-known varieties—since we can’t always predict which will thrive in changing conditions.
